‘C’ is for Choir!
Since the very birth of Christ’s church, people have worshipped the Lord with music! Indeed, even centuries before the birth of our Lord, King David was quite skilled in musical worship. Today’s Christians follow in this rich form of adoration and praise to God. Music belongs in worship – it always has, and always will. Here at Christ Anglican Church, we are blessed with a rich and storied tradition of wonderful sacred music, and the Parish Choir helps to lead musical worship in the Mass.
The Parish Choir is open to all who desire to glorify God through the gift of music. All it takes is a willingness to try, a little patience, and a positive attitude. With God’s help, we’ll get there – together! After all – we were all created to worship, and I firmly believe that God blesses those who say, “Lord, I want to worship you with music. Please help me do my best!” I’ve seen it time and time again. God is so good!
One-hour rehearsals are held following the 10:30 Mass each Sunday. For more information, you can simply jump over to our Parish Choir web page by clicking here. You’ll find more about who we are, what we’re about – and a form to submit your specific questions. Or, simply show up at a rehearsal! All are welcome.
May God be ever glorified by every note we sing!
