Nine Days of Prayer

Join us for the Nine Days of Prayer

Beginning Saturday, January 13, we will offer another round of the Nine Days of Prayer. This time is set aside for our Parish family to thank God for His abundant provision humbly asking our Heavenly Father for His blessing and protection for our Parish congregation and clergy.

Bring your intercessory prayers to the altar

This is also a time to bring individual requests and intercessory prayers to the altar. If you yourself have a particular need, or you are praying for someone, please let Canon Dart know how to pray with you, and he will include your petitions with the Mass intentions. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” (Phil. 4:6-7)

Christ Anglican Church in Carefree, Arizona began as an outreach from the clergy of Saint Nicholas Anglican Church in Scottsdale, Arizona in July of 1997. We are a founding member of the Diocese of the Southwestern States in the Anglican Province of Christ the King. For the love of God and to glorify His Son Jesus Christ, the charter members of Christ Church Parish gave sacrificially to buy property, erect an altar and build a Church that was consecrated on the Feast of Christ the King in 1999. This is the sacred ground where the faithful regularly proclaim God’s truth through Catholic order as it is embodied in the historic Book of Common Prayer, where they hear the Gospel and receive the Holy Sacraments.
