by Canon Steven Dart, Rector

On this coming Feast of Pentecost we are planning to open the Church for public worship and welcome you back with open arms for an “air hug” and a big smile under a “face covering”.  While the Covid-19 virus is still lurking, each of us must pray and discern how to best navigate our reentry into Church life to make sure we are doing our best to safeguard our own health and the well being of others.  Please stay home if you are not well, and observe spatial distancing keeping at least six feet from others (except of course for those of our same household).  Please partake from these following offerings:

Services will continue online.  The Daily Office on Zoom with Morning Prayer at 8 a.m. and Evening Prayer at 5 p.m.;  Facebook livestream on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. and Wednesdays at 10 a.m.  For instructions on how to link to these offerings, please refer to the home page of our web site, ChristChurchAZ.org.

Drive Thru Communion, Sundays at 9:15 a.m.  Come in your car to the main gate of the Church, roll down the passenger window and I will give you a blessing and the Bread of Heaven individually wrapped.  I will wear a mask and food service glove.

Enter, Rest, Pray and be Fed on Sundays at 9:30 a.m.  This ten minute service is held in the Church with the Collect for the Day, Confession, Absolution, Lord’s Prayer, Agnus Dei and reception of the Blessed Sacrament.  Face coverings are required.

The Masked Mass Sundays at 8 a.m. and Wednesdays at 10 a.m.  Face coverings are required.  Please enter the Church through the main door and exit at the office door to the east.  Help out by bringing your own prayer book.  We will not be passing the plate.  You can give electronically online by using the “Giving” button on the web site, and there will be offering plates in the narthex and on a table next to the Quiet Room.

The 10:30 Holy Communion on Sundays.  Face coverings are highly recommended.
